A show inspired from five decades of soul music and bursting with infectious vigour!

Taking the SoulCity road is delving into a vastly huge repertoire of a genre born in the early '60s, which has been in constant evolution ever since. From Marvin Gaye to Aretha Franklin, James Brown to Stevie Wonder and Prince to Diana Ross, enjoy scorching rhythms that will stir your soul and make your feet sing! There is something for every generation in this musical that has already been seen by more than 30,000 people throughout Canada and became the toast of the Cabaret du Casino de Montréal in 2008 and the Casino du Lac-Leamy in 2009.

The SoulCity band is composed of experienced and passionate artists at the height of their talent.

It is a story of deep friendship sealed by a passion for soul music. Draws from the experiences of co-creator and singer Maude Buisson, who once left QC to go on tour with a group of Afro-American musicians and singers who later became her second family. Soul is part of a large circle of musical genres related in their ability to gather and uplift, including Funk, Gospel, Disco, Motown, Pop and R&B. Guarantees everybody will be on their feet before the end of the show!
